|
| |
| The Career and Personal Counseling Center exists to help people find, affirm, and utilize their gifts and strengths to experience God's call to fullness of life, and to identify factors which hinder career and life satisfaction. The Center and its programs are committed to serve all people who could benefit from its services. |
| |
Central Client Population |
| |
| The Center serves a variety of client populations including high school students, post-high school young adults, candidates for the ministry, church professionals and persons of all ages who need or wish to explore vocation and work issues. Most of our clients are referred through the six presbyteries, however, the Center's services are open to anyone. |

History |
| |
The Career and Personal Counseling Center, begun in 1960, has served more than seven thousand clients with its career and personal counseling. We explore with clients their abilities, interests and personality characteristics as these relate to vocational choice and satisfaction of life.
The center is accredited by the Ministry Development Council which conducts a site review every five years. The MDC is an ecumenical coalition of denominations and accredited vocational service providers. More information about the MDC can be found at www.ministrydevelopment.org. |
