Take the Helm

 
 
  We have a variety of programs. Often a career program is tailored to a client's special requirements. Most of our programs start with the completion of questionnaires and inventories especially designed for career development. Questionnaires, prepared in advance of the first interview require introspection about life/work experience, personal history and accomplishments.

The inventories detail a range of personality traits found in all people. The purpose of their use is to provide a helpful comparison with traits known to be useful in the world of work as well as suggestions for personal growth that should improve a client's overall job satisfaction and success. During one-to-one interviews with a career specialist, we use the materials mentioned above to assess potential occupational skills. Participation in this process also enables a client to gain an understanding, not only of his attributes, interests, capabilities and developmental needs, but also of appropriate occupational direction.
